Kingsway welcomes Cleland McIver Lifestyle

The Kingsway Partnership and Ropemaker have secured their first occupier for ‘Plot K’ on Kingsway Business Park in Rochdale, North Manchester. Cleland McIver Lifestyle has acquired a 40,000 sq ft warehouse as part of its ongoing expansion strategy in a deal worth close to £4m.

With its headquarters based in Smithy Bridge, Cleland McIver Lifestyle is a key supplier of household textiles to Dunelm, controlling the whole supply chain from sourcing new products to same-day distribution.

Plot K is a speculative phase of Kingsway Business Park, one of the largest business parks in the North West, that was funded by Ropemaker and comprises four high-quality warehouses ranging in size from 35,000 sq ft to 75,000 sq ft. The self-contained units are available on a freehold or leasehold basis.

Situated on a 420acre site close to the M62 motorway, Kingsway also has a 216,410 sq ft warehouse currently available and can accommodate design and build requirements from 10,000 sq ft to 275,000 sq ft. The popular business park is already home to a number of high profile occupiers including Asda, JD Sports, CR Laurence, Source Bio-Science, Takeuchi MFG, Edmund Bell and EON.
